Infant Massage

CALENDAR

You and your baby communicate with all senses: smell, sight, taste, hearing, and especially TOUCH! Babies need touch to survive, they need it to thrive. Study after study has proven that. Instinctively, you knew that the first think you wanted to do after your sweet baby was born was to touch it, to stroke it, to love it.

HypnoBirthing Infant Massage Classes will teach you basic strokes and routines to use to calm and soothe your baby. Even if you weren’t a HypnoBirthing parent, you can still take these classes and you will probably even have greater benefits. These classes will teach you to relax when interacting with your baby and how to relax in general. Yes, you learn specific massage strokes, but you will also come away with a newfound sense of empowerment, and a new level of trust in your own natural ability to communicate with your baby.

I enjoyed the infant massage class because it was a relaxing experience for me and my son and it was and still is a great way to bond and to play and have fun. Conny

One of the many tips we learned in HypnoBirthing class was that touch is a very powerful tool.  When Pauline invited Nora and I to take part in her infant massage class, it was a no-brainer, we signed up right away.  Nora and I LOVED it!   Those first few months were so stressful, that I really looked forward to class time as a chance to relax with my baby and bond with other moms.  Pauline’s instruction on how to work gas out of a baby belly proved priceless.  There were so many nights when a good tummy massage worked out the knots and allowed my baby to finally sleep.  Nora still gets excited each time I rub my hands together because she knows that that means a massage is coming.  Her legs start kicking and she spreads her limbs out as if to say, “I’m ready for my massage Mom!”  Now if only Pauline could teach my husband how to give Mommy Massages life would be perfect! My baby and I were very happy to attend infant massage class. Not only was i able to learn a lot of valuable information about babies, but it helped me get to know my baby better and we bonded tremendously. Also, the physical aspect of infant massage helped my baby with colic and gas. Yana.

The info I learned from infant massage was a lifesaver! My infant daughter Jillian was having a hard time falling asleep at night- we established a routine with some infant massage included, now bedtime is so much easier! Thanks a million Pauline! Nicole

Infant massage taught me how to stimulate my baby's nervous system which is great for body-brain development.  It is yet another way mother and baby can get to know one another and promote overall health and wellness of the infant.    -Kelly Warnos Founder of InternetMom.org
